We are excited to offer job opportunities to join our Chandon California Harvest 2023 team. We welcome candidates with and without winery/cellar experience for positions in both our Winery/Cellar and our Lab.

You will: be energetic; willing and able to perform manual work, which sometimes requires lifting and repetitive tasks; able to work either day or night shifts; have transport and a drivers licence or willing to make us of our Chandon bikes for travel to and from the Winery in Yountville; and are committed and eager to be part of a wonderful winery community;

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist skilled cellar workers.
Under supervision, perform the routine operation of pumps and filters to rack, transfer, and clarify juice and wine.
Responsible for sanitation in all areas of cellar operations including tanks, floors, fittings, and all other equipment.
Able to follow and complete work order instructions in detail.
Collect wine samples and general support for laboratory sampling.
Measure, weigh and perform chemical additions to wine.
Under supervision, perform routine barrel work including receiving, prepping, filling, topping, cleaning/sanitation, and inventory.
Monitor and set tank temperature during fermentation, stabilization, and storage.
Safely operate forklifts and handcarts.
Operates and cares for presses.
Responsible for shipping and receiving of wine tankers and grape deliveries.
Open communication with winemaking, lab, Cellar workers and Cellar Supervisor.
