Levrier Wines By Jo Irvine is a small, family owned, boutique winery located in the famous Barossa Valley Region.

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic person who is experienced in hospitality and has a passion about wine and working with a small team.

The role is primarily Cellar Door and some small event planning, however opportunities to gain further experience and professional development in sales and marketing are also possible.

Owned by award winning winemaker Jo Irvine, Levrier wines are designed to showcase the lesser know varieties of the Barossa such as Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel.

Our Cellar Door is an essential part of our business providing an educational and engaging wine experience for our guests. We target our tastings to suit the individual needs of our customers.

The Role

Reporting to management the Cellar Door manager has a vital role within the business, ensuring guests visiting the winery enjoy a high quality experience.

• This role is either casual or permanent part time ( by discussion) with scope to become full time to the right person.
• Cellar Door working hours are Wednesday to Saturday 9am to 4pm. Some evening work may be required with events.
• Hosting visits and conducting wine tastings both at the winery and offsite.
• Administration duties and day to day running of Cellar Door.
• Maintain cleaning and OH&S standards.
• Packaging wine for customers and organising delivery.
• Maintain wine stock take and Cellar Door requirements.

Criteria

• Experience in Hospitality.
• A passion for customer service.
• Desire to meet sales targets.
• Current drivers licence.
• Ability to work autonomously and make decisions in the Cellar Door that are consistent with Levrier Wines core values.
• A self starter that can cope with busy and quiet days taking the opportunity to assist with marketing and brand building activities as required.
• Possess a responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.

Remuneration commensurate with experience, superannuation and all entitlements.
