An rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced On-Premise Area Manager to join the company’s sales team, with responsibility for the ACT & Southern NSW regions.
The role reports to the State Sales Manager, but carries a high degree of autonomy with account management, sales, budgetary and profit responsibility for the company's brands and partners' wines across the territory. It requires excellent existing customer relationships and an ability to analyse, innovate, leverage and grow sales opportunities across the full range of accounts and trade channels.
The successful applicant for this role will need to have a relevant tertiary qualification, and will certainly have excellent wine knowledge (WSET 1 & 2 preferred), proven track record in establishing and driving the on premise market, at least three years’ wine sales experience and a command of Microsoft Suite applications. Your career to date will have demonstrated a capacity for self-management, planning, and business acumen. To succeed, you will be personally highly motivated, resilient and an excellent communicator who can embody the brand, philosophies and family values of this strongly independent company.
