Vineyard / Winery All Rounder - For immediate start we are looking for a Vineyard and Winery all rounder to join our team with a passion about the wine industry and enjoys working within a team. The role will involve jobs across the venue, including the vineyard, winery, bottling runs and set up for events. Experience with tractors and agricultural machinery plus an empathy with crop production is necessary as is a flexible approach to working hours and work location. Own transport is essential. The successful candidates will be involved with all aspects of wine-grape growing including crop spraying and vineyard estate care and maintenance.
Vintage Assistant Winemaker - The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in Oenology or working towards a tertiary qualification in Oenology or related field, with proven industry experience, we are seeking an individual who has a passion for wine and able to work in a small team. This is a hands-on position and involves working closely with the winemaker through all aspects of the winemaking process, the vintage winemaker will be responsible for all cellar functions including; grape receiving/grape processing operations at harvest, blending, racking, sanitation, barrel procedures and barrel maintenance, pre-bottling preparations such as fining and filtration, equipment maintenance, and forklift operations. The vintage role is expected to commence in early February with the period of employment being up to 8 weeks.
