Wild Duck Creek Estate was established in 1974 by founder David Anderson. Focussed on the production of ultra-premium wines in the Heathcote Wine Region in Central Victoria. We produce wines in a robust full bodied style, using traditional methods and exacting viticulture. Our wines are created to the highest standards possible, with a focus on exacting viticulture and traditional winemaking techniques.
We have many vineyards across the region, as well as access to some of the very best sites through relationships with our growers, some going back 30 years. Traditionally working with Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, we are now making wines with Riesling, Grenache and Mataro. We are also currently in the process of planting a new vineyard with Cabernet Franc, Roussanne and Grenache Blanc.
