Advance your winemaking career in a small market with interesting and different grape varieties.

Tassel Ridge Winery, a rapidly growing state-of-the-art winery in Iowa, has 66 acres of vineyards planted with cold climate varietals. We are looking for a winemaker with a degree in enology interested in making world-class wines from our cold climate grapes.

The successful Winemaker will be part of a team focused on supporting strategic goals and objectives.

Responsibilities include:

- supervising a team of employees performing all wine making and packaging operations

- leading internal and external wine tasting programs

- developing our ISO 9001 system

- assuring regulatory reporting compliance.

In addition to a degree in enology, the successful candidate must have a minimum of four years of winemaking experience as an Assistant or full charge Winemaker. The desire and ability to lead, coach, and develop a team that has an internal problem solving process and a can-do attitude that supports the needs of the entire organization is critical.

The ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in varied climatic conditions is required.
