Description

Family owned winery in western New York. Established in 1976 and currently producing over 18,000 cases of wine annually and is growing in production. We use vinifera, french hybrid and labrusca grapes. We are seeking a motivated individual who can take over the responsibility for all wine production from the grape processing to the bottle. They will be responsible for all labratory work, winery sanitation, cellar management, filtering, blending, TTB cellar records, staff training and inventory management.

Qualifications
BS or associates degree in wine making
Two years experience as winemaker or four years experience working in a wine cellar
Familiar with a large number of grape varieties and wine styles
Working knowledge of grape processing, filtering, racking and bottling equipment
Comfortable on a computer and familiar with TTB records
Must be familiar with East Coast wines
Only Canadian or US candidates will be considered

Compensation
Commensurate with experience and education, minumum $40,000 plus benefits Salary Information: commensurate with education and experience
