Reporting direct to the Chief Winemaker, this position is responsible for a range of activities including: preparing plans for bottling of wine upon maturation whilst ensuring quality standards, consistency,  analytical specifications and LIP requirements are met; delivery of product to packaging on time within specification to meet bottling schedules; preparation of samples and wine show entries; assisting in the planning and management of vintage operations; testing the quality of wine by tasting; assist in the preparation of blending and in-house tastings; monitoring the storage and maturation of wine; participate in promotional and public relations functions, tastings and educational sessions.

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external customers. The successful applicant will be required to work as a part of a dynamic team and be prepared to work shifts and overtime, including vintage as required. Completion of tertiary qualifications in Wine Science or equivalent and practical winemaking experience for two vintages or more is essential.
