Vintage Assistant/Graduate Winemakers

An exciting opportunity exists for Oenology graduates to join our team as Vintage Assistant Winemakers with the potential to be offered the role of Graduate Winemaker post vintage. The Graduate Winemaker role will be offered to at least one outstanding performer.  

Based at our winery in the Riverland, Vintage Assistant Winemakers are responsible for assisting with high quality wine production. You will work closely with the Winemaking, Cellar and Laboratory teams assisting with sampling, ferment quality, temperature control, additions, fruit processing, juice and wine parameter monitoring and other vintage processing activities.

Graduate Winemakers will be given the wonderful opportunity over 2 years to further develop their winemaking knowledge and skill by being exposed to all facets of wine production. This will involve working within the Cellar and Laboratory teams. Upon successful completion of the program you may be offered ongoing employment.

Successful applicants will be highly motivated and passionate about wine production, possess excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills and be willing to work shift work. You will hold a degree in Oenology (or related) or be close to completion. Ideally you will have previous vintage experience; however new graduates are encouraged to apply.
