Our Barossa Vineyard encompass 845Ha of established Vineyard in the Barossa Valley; consisting of 14 separate iconic vineyard sites ranging in age from 1800’s plantings to new developments.
An opportunity currently exists to join the Kalimna Vineyard team as a Vineyard Supervisor to assist in the day-to-day supervision of the vineyard operations ensuring these are of a timely, cost effective, safe and product specific manner
You will be responsible for:
- Participating in the development and implementation of the weekly site work program
- Ensuring HSE objectives are attained
- Assisting in determining yield and grade targets and maximise opportunities to achieve set targets
- Establishing and maintaining employee performance guidelines
- Completing designated administrative tasks within required time frame
- Educating and training operators in a traditional viticultural region
If you have practical vineyard experience coupled with a tertiary qualification in Viticulture or a closely related field this may be the role for you. Your excellent communication skills along with your proven track record of people management will be pivotal for this role. Additional qualifications such as Chemcert, Hazard Id, Risk Assessment or Workplace Training & Assessment will be highly regarded.
