Do you have a passion for growing grapes and being outdoors? Want to utilize your management skills to oversee the day-to-day operations of over 60 acres of vines? If so, then you need to apply for the Vineyard Manager opening at Tassel Ridge Winery! You will be in charge of developing a grape production plan; organizing and supervising staff to maintain operational requirements; assuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to grape production; and be able to perform all viticulture operations.

The ideal candidate will possess:
• A proven work ethic
• Strong understanding of vineyard management practices and procedures for hybrid grapes
• Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
• A four-year degree in Horticulture or Agronomy and/or four years experience as an assistant or full charge vineyard manager

The following would be a plus:
• Possess a valid Class D driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Has a qualified pesticide applicator certificate issued by the Iowa Department of Pesticide Regulation
• Sound computer skills
