Tomich Wines is seeking an experienced vineyard professional to assist in managing day to day activities on our 200 planted acre cool climate Adelaide Hills vineyard. We are seeking a person with a positive attitude to be a long term team member.

 The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a high level of initiative, self and team motivation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a small team in a very busy workplace. This is a hands on work environment, the candidate will be working in the field daily and operating machinery.  Book work is limited to spray diaries, and irrigation records. Skills must be minimum of level 4.

 Our vineyard is well maintained, well presented, all machinery work, done in house, machinery is well maintained and is of a high standard.  Our irrigation and frost control systems are extensive and function effectively.

 We are seeking a candidate familiar with operating a large scale cool climate vineyard with a strong understanding of daily activities and growing B Grade fruit.

 Applicants should have a sound understanding of viticulture, vineyard machinery operation and maintenance, together with highly developed time management skills.

 Key responsibilities include:

 Ensure key viticultural practices happen on a timely basis

• Daily staff management
• Machinery operation
• Irrigation
• Frost control
• Labour hire management

 Previous experience in vine yard management, machinery operation, viticultural practices essential.
