An exciting high profile opportunity exists for a passionate and talented Winemaker to join the team at the Lindeman’s Karadoc Winery. With the opportunity to become an integral part of the sparkling winemaking team, we are looking for an experienced winemaker seeking to expand their knowledge.  

As a member of a dedicated team you will drive continuous improvement of the winemaking process to align with best practice methodologies.

You will be responsible for

• Contributing towards scheduling and management of site sparkling winemaking, including volume allocations, efficiency and quality.
• Working closely with operations and regional winemaking teams and assist in the management of third party winemaking sites.
• Ensuring the smooth changeover of sparkling and table wines, you will also get involved with vintage wine production.
• Assisting in ensuring that budget and production requirements are met without jeopardising HSE, compliance and quality.

You will be an experienced winemaker, with demonstrated table wine competencies.  Your previous experience with sparkling winemaking will be highly regarded though not essential for the right applicant. You have an absolute passion for wine and have previously demonstrated your flair and contemporary approach to winemaking along with recognition of the importance of traditional winemaking practice.  Bring your advanced understanding of winery operations and wine production to the table as you manage a diverse range of stakeholders and drive optimal commercial outcomes. With success managing multiple products across different quality streams, you have a proven ability to employ best practise and quality control in the winemaking process. Your exceptional people management experience combined with excellent problem solving skills will see you really succeed in this role.
