An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Senior Winemaker to join the winemaking team at one of Australia’s largest family-owned wineries as we expand to meet growing customer requirements.

This is a significant role within the winemaking team and is directly responsible for the production of quality wine for both our export and domestic markets as well as for leading a team of committed winemakers.

This position would suit a proficient winemaker with experience in both warm and cool climate wines and a proven capability in winemaking innovation and improvement.  Applicants will possess effective leadership skills, a high degree of self-motivation, resourcefulness and initiative.  The successful applicant will thrive working in a dynamic and busy environment and display excellent planning and logistical skills.

A degree in Oenology, proven winemaking experience and a passion for making quality wine is essential. Winemaking experience in a large scale winery is preferred but not essential.
