SALES & EVENTS REPRESENTATIVE (Maternity Leave Position)

Brand’s Laira is part of the McWilliam’s Wines Group which has a stable of brands that reflect a commitment to quality, with an impressive show awards history. Brand’s Laira Coonawarra remains an integral part based in South Australia’s grape growing heartland.

We are seeking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join our team as Sales & Events Representative. The major responsibilities of the Sales & Events Representative are to maximise visitation and regional sales opportunities and ensure that all visitors to Brand’s Laira Coonawarra have a professional wine tourism experience. This position is a Full-time Maternity Leave contract up to 12 months.

The successful applicant will be reporting to the Winemaker/Winery Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

• Wine Tasting and Sales – Act as Brand Ambassador hosting Cellar Door tastings with a high degree of professionalism displaying superior wine, brand and regional knowledge
• Promote, develop and maintain Cellar Door Club database including the co-ordination of Company newsletters, mail outs and sales initiatives
• Update and provide content for the Brand’s Laira website
• Maintain a high standard of presentation in Cellar Door
• Assist in the co-ordination of events and public relations activities on and off site to promote Brand’s Laira Coonawarra and its products
• Co-ordinate and host VIP visits to Brand’s Laira Coonawarra
• Maintain and develop social media profile
• Develop and maintain on-premise clientele to maximise sales opportunities

The successful candidate will have:

• Extensive experience or knowledge of the wine tourism industry
• Confidence and enthusiasm when dealing with consumers
• A high level of professionalism and superior customer service and sales skills.
• §  Computer skills encompassing intermediate MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Social Media experience
• Current RSA Certificate
