Gemtree   Vineyards is owned and run by third generation grapegrowers, the Buttery   Family.

The family is dedicated to producing   iconic wines of the highest quality from their McLaren Vale vineyards which   since 2008 have been farmed biodynamically and are fully certified organic

 

We are currently looking for an   experienced, hands on, production and logistics manager to join our dynamic   team, immediate start possible

Specific duties will include :

Manage all aspects of production including but not limited to bottling and packaging

Co-ordinate and despatch all Wholesale and Export orders.

Co-ordinate freight movements,  shipping and export approvals

Management of stock in all warehouses  

Co-ordinate the implementation of packaging plans

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and improve supplier service levels.

The ideal candidate would have :

Background in a similar role with the ability to demonstrate superior logistics knowledge

Excellent computer and customer service skills are essential.

Ability to work autonomously,  prioritise and time-manage

High attention to detail, strong analytical skills and effective problem solving ability

Team player
