Building is under construction and when it is completed it will have capacity to hold roughly 400 barrels. The winery is 2 blocks from the beach and will have a Mediterranean style restaurant, outdoor seating, demonstration vineyard, and bocce ball court. We have been producing wines from all over California, including locally grown grapes from SD county along with Valle de Guadelupe, Mexico. The wines have received many Golds and a Best of Class at the SF Chronicle Wine Comp and the Orange County Fair.
Winery expected to be open by late November 2012 and restaurant expected to open by February 2013.
Tasting Room Staff-
Motivated people to work full or part time. Must be great with people and be very interested in wine and the process. As the wine club builds, there will be a need for a manager and will probably hire from within... It would be preferrable if you have experience working in a winery and a huge plus if you have worked with a wine club.
Will feature Mediterranean (Spanish/ French) influenced cuisine utilizing local ingredients when feasible. Seeking a person that will ensure a consistent and high quality product along with excellent customer service. Profitability will obviously be very important and close attention will be needed to oversee portion control, staffing levels, spoilage, amongst other things
The ideal candidate is a seasoned chef that has experience managing both FOH and BOH. Minimum 10 years cooking experience
an experienced restaurant manager that knows and loves wine. Must have at least 10 years experience and have FOH and BOH experience.
