What you will be doing and will be responsible for:

As a generalist with strong skills in digital and DtC sales and marketing, leading all activities across Marketing, this position will prioritise activities that are focused around delivery of sales (new, current and increased spend) and growth of club membership (attraction and retention). This role will include a mixture of multi-disciplinary Marketing & Communications which will include in-house direct to consumer, communications, events, creative services and digital marketing. Some weekend and after-hours events will also form part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implements the Black Sheep Club strategic plan
  • Crafting and executing innovative digital marketing strategies across Social Media, Email, SEO and Website.
  • Overseeing the creation of digital sales and marketing content
  • Managing referral partnerships and relationships.
  • Team leadership of a digital advisor, graphic designer, customer relationship coordinator.
  • Providing support around marketing collateral and promotional activity.
  • Planning, marketing and managing events to maximise guest experience.
  • Developing an annual marketing program and promotional calendar that resonates with their unique identity and achieves their sales goal within margin requirements
  • Collaborating with the management team to create and coordinate captivating media campaigns.
  • Monitoring and reporting on DTC Sales KPIs and campaign effectiveness.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers.
  • Overseeing market research and identifying new opportunities to captivate our audience.
  • Upholding brand management and marketing guidelines across all touchpoints.
  • Managing the marketing budget and delivering insightful reports for strategic decision-making.
  • Delivers the annual suite of events
  • Providing support for the annual PR plan

 

‘What you look like’ and need to demonstrate to be successful’.

  • Alignment with the brand and values.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role, demonstrating a track record of success.
  • Omnichannel sales & marketing concepts
  • Digital and DtC marketing experience
  • Prior loyalty club exposure
  • Background knowledge of the wine industry (highly desirable). Failing this an interest in wine would be great
  • Strong project management and prioritisation skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a close-knit team.
  • Outstanding time management and attention to detail.
  • A positive and proactive attitude that embraces challenge/Proactive problem solver with good judgment to progress projects
  • Effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A calm demeanour under pressure and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where flexibility to adapt to a changing sales environment is required .
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • CRM experience (desirable)
  • Ecommerce experience – managing campaigns and advertising spend (desirable)
  • Creativity
  • Setting the standard in terms of customer service
