 To complete the core management team which reports to the family MD, Ben Thomson, a new position of Commercial Manager has been created.  Based at the winery, this role calls for a proven wine business professional who has, and can apply, outstanding business and financial acumen and take a leading role in enabling the family to achieve its vision and business plan.

 The successful candidate will be a part of the senior management team. So, experience in leading and managing teams is essential. You will have an excellent working understanding of the functions of Winemaking and Sales & Marketing. Alongside these two department managers, you will formulate and implement the company’s business strategies and plans.

 Specifically, your tertiary qualifications will underpin your responsibility for all aspects of financial management including: accounts reconciliation, budgeting, payroll management and reporting. Added to this is responsibility for on-site HR, compliance functions, IT systems development and company secretarial functions.
