O’Brien Estate, a 40 acre family owned vineyard and winery located in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley, specializes in the production of premium, hand-crafted, estate wines. The evolving 33 acre vineyard is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.

O’Brien Estate is looking for an enthusiastic, well rounded assistant winemaker capable of performing and executing a wide range of vineyard and winery duties. This position is hands-on in all aspects of wine production and requires a strong understanding of vineyard management and wine production from the dirt to the bottle. The ideal candidate would possess: a BS degree in enology, viticulture or a related discipline, related practical experience (including, but not limited to, vineyard, laboratory and cellar work); critical thinking and problem solving skills; mechanical aptitude, forklift experience; the physical capacity to lift 50+ lbs and work long hours when required; tasting skill, and a passion for producing fine wines.
