 Assistant Winemaker

An outstanding opportunity exists for a motivated and dedicated Assistant Winemaker to join one of Australia’s largest wineries as it continues its growth and development in the domestic and international wine market.

Based at our winery in the Riverland, the Assistant Winemaker reports directly to the Senior Winemaker and is responsible for supporting Vintage Assistant Winemakers while assisting the Winemaking team to produce wines with a high level of efficiency.

You will achieve this through effective wine quality monitoring procedures, accurate record keeping of wine movements as well as actively contributing to innovation and quality improvement systems.

This position will suit you if you are enthusiastic and committed to a future in winemaking, proactive with a can do attitude, have a strong work ethic and enjoy working within a dynamic team environment.

You will hold a degree in Oenology (or related and undertaken two or more vintages. To excel in this role you will possess strong time management and proficient computer, organisation and communication skills.
