The Winery: Our small, hardworking winery team is located in the Tamar Valley and creates premium Cool Climate varietals for Tamar Ridge, Devil’s Corner and Pirie Sparkling.
The Role: Reporting to the Winemaker/Winery Manager, this role is diverse! At vintage you will provide winemaking support and cellar guidance, during the year you will perform a mainly cellar role, while still taking a key role in wine blending decisions. As such you will work towards improving the quality and profitability of winery operations and contribute positively to the ongoing development of a quality culture with the Company. Additionally, you will be required to undertake promotional activities at the level requested by the Company.
What’s Required: We are seeking a pro-active individual with a tertiary qualification in Oenology or related field. You will possess excellent communication, a high level of self-motivation and be committed to a high standard of wine quality. Experience in computer operations, a mechanical aptitude and at least three year’s vintage experience are also requirements.
